According to Bright MLS, the marketplace for Washington DC residential properties, here’s what happened in August Vs July 2023:
The number of sold listings Decreased by 17% to 70 properties with a top sale of $6.8 million at 3953 52nd St NW.
The Average Sales Price increased by 36% to $1.175 million and the Average Price Per Square Foot is $466.
The inventory of properties available for sale is measured in month supply and it Increased by 20% to 3.44 month worth of properties for sale.
The 30-year fixed mortgage rate is at an average rate of 6.50% according to Freddiemac.com
