n Potomac, detached home prices were $1.32 million in March. That’s down 5.7% from last month, but still up 5.6% compared to March 2025. Homes sold quickly, averaging just 14 days on the market, faster than normal.
Buyer activity increased, with 51 new contracts, up over 40% from last month. Total pending sales rose to 53. Inventory also grew to 48 active listings, giving buyers more options.
Overall, the market favors sellers. There are about 1.1 contracts for every home on the market, higher than last month and last year. This shows strong demand, with homes continuing to move quickly.
