The Latest Federal Reserve Interest Rate Forecast

As per the Federal Reserve Watch forecast, it seems that the consensus among Fed watchers is that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates by a quarter percent clear through June. Currently, the interest rate is at 4.50%-4.75%.

According to the forecast, the consensus among Fed watchers is that after the FOMC meeting on March 22, the interest rate will be raised to a range of 4.75%-5.00%, with a 100% probability of change from the current policy.

Similarly, after the FOMC meeting on May 3, the consensus is that the interest rate will be raised to a range of 5.00%-5.25%, with a 92.3% probability of change from the current policy.

Finally, after the FOMC meeting on June 14, the consensus is that the interest rate will be raised to a range of 5.25%-5.50%, with a 64.1% probability of change from the current policy.
